Our team of consultants improves the way businesses gain insight into their corporate information through innovative technologies and methodologies. The role has multiple dimensions that include:

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications
• Provide business users and application developers support in the latest BI, DI technologies
• Install and configure applications
• Provide support throughout the full development life cycle of solutions
• Rapidly establish good working relationships with customers and other professionals.

After initial training in the software tools used, you will tend to work within a small team of 3 – 4 experienced consultants, providing solutions onsite to our clients all over the UK, or from our base office in Glasgow. You will gain valuable experience working hands on with the latest technologies. Once your skills, knowledge and confidence expand, so too will your role to include research and development of new and exciting products that may also include aiding the sales team with product recommendations and pre-sales product demonstrations.

We are looking for successful technical staff with the following attributes:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated eagerness and ability to learn new technologies
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Knowledge of any programming language
• Exposure to databases or Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Able to travel and work away from home
